DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Treasury Operations (TO)
i. Prepares daily preparation of End of Day Report (EOD) through access to SMDC Group’s different bank’s online banking platforms to facilitate online/manual fund transfers (FT) from one account to another with the same company, other subsidiaries’ deposit account as well as its investment accounts and ensure its proper and timely implementation.
ii. Preparation and processing of transaction documents i.e. Request For Payment (RFP), Check voucher (CV) and SAP payment list with coordination to Accounting Department for SAP posting to facilitate cash pooling of Local checks on a daily basis.
iii. Uploading of online transaction documents i.e. RFT/RFP via Document Online Approval (DONA) to trigger Accounting Department to facilitate recording of FT and INV on SAP on a daily basis.
iv. Recommends company/deposit accounts for online cash pooling or funds consolidation to facilitate online transfers of SMDC Group’s excess funds in their collecting accounts and monitors its implementation.
v. Initiates process improvement through deployment of new/enhancement of macro based templates to facilitate daily processing of funding transactions both manual and online, EOD report preparations.
vi. Ensure that internal controls are properly observed and embedded in the online processing of fund transfer transactions.
vii. Preparation of transmittal for the Summary of Check Vouchers (CV) to transmit to Account Department for safe keeping and audit purposes.
2. Corporate Financial Management (CFM)
i. Attends coordination meetings regarding matters concerning cash pooling/consolidation and other concerns when there are meeting requests and provides valuable inputs and feedback thereafter.
3. Records/Document Management (DM)
i. Guarantees the organized and complete maintenance of all files/records on all funding and investment transactions such as but not limited to processed RFPs, check vouchers, EOD reports, to name a few.
4. Others
i. Assist Accounting Department on Audit documents inquiry, as needed.
ii. Ensures the accurate, timely and up- to-date preparation of monthly reportorial requirements of the section.
iii. Performs new projects or functions assigned by the immediate head and unit head.
1. With intermediate knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications; SAP exposure is an advantage.

3. Should be pro-active, team player, focused, organized, detailed, resourceful and goal oriented
A graduate of Business course preferably Accountancy, Banking and Finance.
At least 1 year work experience in retail/commercial banking operations, reputable property developer or real estate contractor with exposure to liquidity and loan related transactions.
The position is responsible for the management of the day-to-day funding of SMDC and its subsidiaries (SMDC Group) operations and ensure that there’s maximum use of available funds and any excess from operations are made available for investments.
