DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Should be able to understand written and verbal instructions, draft technical drawings and blueprints, implement feedback from engineers and architects, and work long hours to meet deadlines.
2. Interpret project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.
3. Produce rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
4. Visit sites (if necessary) to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
5. Update software, drawings, and other documents.
6. Remain professional when feedback is delivered, and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.
7. Ensure drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.
8. Communicate potential design issues to engineers and architects.
9. Conduct research when required.
10. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
1. Must be a graduate of Industrial Education major in Drafting,
2. Preferably with at least three (3) years of extensive work experience as CAD Operator/Draftsman, and a total of 5 years (minimum) work experience from a reputable property developer, real estate, contractor or consulting firm.
3. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a drafting works.
4. Able to communicate (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
5. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
6. Good Level in any related electrical engineering/drafting software such as AutoCAD, MEP, Revit, etc.
7. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, etc.
8. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
The CAD Operator / Draftsman in guidance and with coordination of the Design production Team’s Engineering Design Manager (DM) and the Asst. Engineering Design Manager (ADM) – Production Team is responsible in the preparation of the following:
• Preparation of CAD Drawings – Mechanical and Fire Protection
• To ensure that the design is aligned and satisfies its intended purpose and meets all applicable requirements.
• All CAD drawings of all projects should be properly archived and kept in the company’s designated folder
