-Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
-Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.
-Above average oral and written communication skills.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR Team.
-Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the management team that provides company leadership and direction.
-Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all internal customers and external contacts/network.
-Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
-General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
-Experience in the administration of benefits, compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
-Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Minimum of Bachelor's Degree preferably BS Psychology or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
-Broad knowledge and experience in all facets of HR Services (recruitment, performance management, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development).
Under the general guidance of the SVP-Operations and the SAVP - HR & OD of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., the Director of Human Resources shall oversee, guide and manager the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire SMX company.
