DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform design and supervision of all SMDC in-house design production works and drawings – Electrical and Auxiliary.
2. Review Electrical and Auxiliary drawings of the CAD Operator/Draftsman prior to presentation and printing and evaluate design changes propose by project stakeholders involved in the project prior to project implementation.
3. Ensure all Electrical and Auxiliary designs and layouts, systems and other drawings, reports and specifications are compliant to;
3.1 All existing local Codes and Standards
3.2 All SMDC approved design standards and specifications
at each stage of the Design as specified in the scope of work and contract agreement.
4. Participate on meetings and discussions in identifying potential value engineering and cost saving items prior to implementation of the projects.
5. Review and evaluate design parameters prior to design production and/or full design scopes.
6. Closely monitor the timelines of deliverables of the design production team
7. Provide assistance to the EDMR-Design Team and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) teams in ensuring the quality of workmanship of trade contractors (MEPFS &CS).
8. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
1. Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering from a reputable college or university.
2. Board exam passer with a valid PRC license
3. Preferably with at least three (3) years of work experience as Design Engineer and total of at least five (5) cumulative years of experience from a reputable property developer, real estate, contractor or consulting firm.
4. Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
5. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
6. Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
7. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
8. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders
9. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
10. Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
11. Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies

ASST DESIGN ENGG MANAGER - ELECTRICAL
The Design Engineer/ADM (For MEPFS Design Production Team) – Electrical and Auxiliary is responsible in ensuring and implementing Engineering Design and Supervision of the following:
1. Electrical Engineering and Auxiliary Design Works
from schematic stage (SS), design development stage (DDS), bidding stage and for construction stage (FCS) of the project in accordance with the required design handover schedules, completeness of plans and use of accepted value engineering (VE) practices.
Reports to: Design Production Team-Design Manager
Supervises: CAD-Operator / Draftsman (Electrical and Auxiliary)
