Collaborate with product teams, data engineering and data science teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage diagrams, and other documentation related to data governance.
• Monitor data quality and identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain automated data quality checks and data validation routines.
• Create and maintain basic data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data platforms, data models and data structures.
• Provide regular data platform-related status reports to management.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or other quantitative field.

2+ years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or data engineering.
Understanding of database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL database and cloud-based data platforms
Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and tools with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
Experience with basic data engineering practices, including ETL and data pipelines.
Experience with data modeling and database design.

Data Platform Analyst

The Data Platform Analyst will be responsible for supporting the organization's data platforms to ensure high availability, reliability, and security. The role will require the individual to work closely with the data platform team, data analysts, developers, and end-users to provide technical support, analysis, and troubleshooting on the various data platforms used by the organization.
