The Senior Marketing Manager for Corporate Communications and PR will oversee all communications involving SMDC and its projects including the development and implementation of a communications strategy and a broad and diverse range of business and marketing communications.
• Coordinates and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; composes and distributes press releases as needed.
• Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with various members of the media.
• Assists executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages.
• Provides articles and images for preparation of the company's annual report.
• Deliver weekly reports and quarterly competitive reports of real estate Corporate Communication and PR landscape
• Represent the company in events and activities relevant to the post
• 7-10 years of experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, with a track record of developing and delivering communication strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Organized with attention to detail
• Superior ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for corporate and external publications
• Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership
• Excellent managerial and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community
• Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams in order to present a coherent message
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, or Marketing with a focus on PR or Advertising from any of the top universities in the Philippines. MBA or equivalent a plus
• 7-10 years of experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, with a track record of developing and delivering communication strategies
• Develops and implements a communications strategy for the corporation that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand.
• Leads the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns for SMDC projects
• Coordinate with internal groups and manage external agencies to ensure the successful execution of Corporate Communication and PR campaigns
• Oversees corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms
• Provides consistent and timely information to employees through various communications programs.
