- Provides value added service to costumers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.

2. Serves guests with food and beverage
- Leads customers to allocated/reserved/preferred table.
- Walks at reasonable pace ahead of customers.
- Seats customers (ladies first) slowly and carefully.
3. Ensures prior preparation to service
- Brings tray to table for cleaning.
- Places all glasses, ashtrays, and tidbit bowls on the tray OR arranges these items properly on the Waiter’s Station.
- Cleans table top with a damp tablecloth.
4. Ensures customer satisfaction
- Approaches the table with a smile.
- Listens to customers’ reply attentively.
- Responds to customers in an appropriate manner.
5. Gives necessary information to customers.
- Acquires a working knowledge of the Hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to satisfactorily respond to customer questions in these areas as required.
- Describes knowledgeably any food item in the menu upon customer’s request.
6. Handles minor customer complaints.
