The Quantity Surveyor – Supervisor () functions shall include preparation of cost associated with () of SMDC construction Projects. Above all, the function is concerned with doing the best possible job at the best possible price

1 Prepare and develop budgetary cost estimate on () projects for construction.
2. Attends pre-bid meetings, clarificatory meetings, and assists in the recommendation of award on the assigned project’s () Work Packages.
3. Assists in the evaluation process of bid proposals for new projects and in the assessment of cost proposals for change order of existing projects.
4. Prepare and develop preliminary cost plan and analysis ()
5. Evaluate change order breakdown of computations reconciled by the External CM with contractors.
6. Attend design coordination meetings and participate in the review of plans, design and specifications.
7. Liaise and coordinate with the site Project Engineering Officers.
8. Assist in developing, establishing and maintaining a Cost Database for ()
9. Monitor compliance of Contractor to agrees () contract.
10. Perform other duties that may be assigned to him by the Sr QS Manager and QS/Contracts SAVP from time to time.

Possessing a valid PRC licensed or its equivalent

1. Knowledgeable in PH building codes and other related standards.
2. Excellent skills with Autocadd, MSOffice, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
3. Computer literate, easy to learn new software.
4. Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
6. Systematic and analytical thinker, be able to interpret and deduce what figures and numbers are saying.
7. Good attention to details. Should be accurate and precise.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Good presentation skills.
10. Team-player, cooperative and sociable.
11. MUST BE A PERSON OF INTEGRITY, SOUND MORALS AND ETHICAL PRINCIPLES.

Graduate of Civil Engineering course () from a reputable school or university.

At least 5 years solid experience in reputable company (property developer, real state, contractor or consulting company) as QS or Project In Charge (If contractor)
