The Engineering Civil Design Assistant Manager in guidance and with coordination of the Engineering Design Manager
is responsible in the conduction of the design reviews of the Civil and Structural Engineering Works (For Civil and
Structural Engineering Design Assistant Manager) to ensure that the design is aligned and satisfies its intended purpose
and meets all applicable requirements. Design reviews provide a check to see that no obvious errors have been made
and that no significant factors are overlooked.
The results of the design reviews should be documented and action items are communicated to stakeholders and
interested parties. The final documentation shall be captured in the project files, and shall form part of quality
assurance documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the corresponding Engineering Design Manager in the review of MEPFS & CS coming from external
design consultants and take note and consider design changes propose by project stakeholders involved in
the project prior to project implementation.
2. Participate on meetings and discussions in identifying potential value engineering and cost saving items prior
to implementation of the projects.
3. Assist the corresponding Engineering Design Manager in the review and evaluation of design parameters
proposed by the external design consultants. Ensure that all action items from the evaluation is properly
executed and closed.
4. Assists the corresponding Engineering Design Manager in the review of the MEPFS & CS engineering designs
and layouts, systems and other engineering drawings, reports and specifications submitted by the external
design consultants at each stage of the Design Management Stage to ensure adequacy, accuracy and
compliance to applicable codes and legal requirements as specified in the scope of work and contract
agreement. Ensure that all action items from the evaluation is properly executed and closed.
5. Assist the corresponding engineering Design Manager in monitoring the timelines of deliverables of the
external design consultants. Provide necessary action and communication to the external design consultant
whenever attainment of deliverables are compromised.
6. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Manager) from a reputable college or university
2. Board exam passer with a valid PRC license
3. Preferably with at least three (3) years of extensive work experience as Design Assistant Manager from a
reputable property developer, real estate, contractor or consulting firm
4. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating
teamwork, innovation and excellence
5. Good leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
6. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
