• Experience in setting-up and organizing multiple company books. Experience in dealing with local reporting requirements such as SEC, BIR and other local agencies
• Preparation of VAT worksheets, monitoring of creditable withholding taxes, cash position and statutory and month-end reports
• Reconciliation of General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger. Preparation and monitoring of budget vs actual analysis
• Often to work alongside with senior accountants, who handles more specific duties with clients like tax filing and individual financial analysis.
• Set-up and maintain multiple company books, monitor books of accounts and records of all transactions in adherence to local (PH) practices
• Monitor bank reconciliation, recording of journal entries and process disbursements/payments and receipts
• Manage and monitor monthly/quarterly and year-end closing of books
• Prepare and analyze monthly budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with standard company policies and processes, as well as all national and local government requirements to minimize, if not eliminate, any liabilities or penalties
• Monitor the filing and payment of tax returns and other government obligations
• In charge in any accounting and admin matters, and provide financial insights to the Company
• Preferably CPA
• Excellent knowledge in MS office and familiarity with accounting tools is advantage
• Knowledgeable about local and government requirements
• Great attention to details and good communication skills
• Amenable to work in Pasay City and on-site work set-up arrangement
• Graduate of Accounting course
with at least 5 years of experience in the related field including but not limited to, General Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Payroll and Finance
• Overseeing the work of accountants, reviewing financial statements, and preparing reports for upper management.
