Administrative Assistant- Travel Desk will provide on-time and efficient Travel booking service to all SMDC sales personnel with international deployment. He/She must see to it that travel itineraries are communicated on-time with the sellers travel coordinator for the smooth booking transaction. Coordinate with the 3rd part travel agency regarding flight cancellation, changes in details and rebooking. Also, the Administrative Assistant- Travel Desk should maximize the online portal in finding and arranging appropriate travel options based on sellers preferred time and schedules.
1.1. Assist in the airline booking requirement(s) of sales personnel in their international deployment by providing on-time flight itinerary based on sellers preferred flight schedules;
1.2. Find and arrange appropriate airline bookings and endorse with the sellers assigned coordinator for the confirmation of the preferred flight schedule to proceed with booking;
1.3. Discuss with seller’s assigned coordinator some important requirements needed for their international deployment such as visa requirements, health requirements, etc. as deemed necessary in travel booking completion.
1.4. Coordinates with 3rd party travel agency regarding possible flight cancellation, change in flight schedules and/or rebooking and other possible travel disposition of the sellers.
1.5. Review agency bookings for accuracy, cost-effectiveness and adherence to SMDC’s travel policy guidelines for sellers.
1.6. Provide travelers with all the information relative to their airline booking requirements.
1.7. Process all payments relative to their completed airline booking.
Knowledge in online booking system/portal specifically airline booking
Can work under pressure
With acceptable oral and written communication skills
Must be a graduate of 4-year course preferably Business Administration
Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in a corporate travel booking environment
