DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist Planning and Engineering Manager to develop, implement and maintain cost controls on a
project, and provide centralized planning and scheduling on many projects.
2. Assists Planning & Engineering Manager in Preparing, Reviewing and Monitoring Pre-Construction
Schedule of the Pipeline Projects.
3. Assists the Planning & Engineering Manager in reviewing and monitoring Bid and Awards Schedule
of all Projects.
4. Reviewing project schedules submitted by Contractors and recommends adjustments if necessary.
5. Monitoring actual project accomplishments and compares them with schedules.
6. Anticipating potential problems and recommends preventive measures.
7. Identifying possible problems to be encountered in the project and discuss with the Construction
Management Team the mitigating measures to prevent the problem from occurring.
8. Preparing project resource planning and allocation to support the Construction Management
Department.
9. Develop and maintain detailed schedules, ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain
policies and procedures
10. Prepares Construction Schedule for Financial Run Purposes of the 5 years Pipeline Project.
11. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Preferably a graduate of any engineering course or its equivalent from any reputable college or
university.
1. Basic knowledge of the Systems Engineering approach to design, development, integration and
product support
2. Must be focused, driven, team player.
3. Can work under pressure.

development or construction company.

Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that all deliverables from pre-construction, construction and
post-construction stages of the projects are attained on-time and meet the SMDC required quality standards.
