With direct supervision of an Assistant Technical Training Manager, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
1. Develop, coordinate, and provide technical training programs related to construction management.
2. Collaborate with Construction Management Department (CMD) to identify training needs and develop technical and instructional solutions.
3. Develop training materials such as training handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedues.
4. Recommend and/or implement innovative solutions, modifications and enhancements to technology training programs
5. Maintain a keen understanding of technical training trends, developments, and best practices
6. Coordinate and/or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
7. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

PRC licensed professional or its equivalent.
Management, leadership and other certification programs is an advantage
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in class room training, e-learning, workshops, etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
Strong writing and record keeping ability to create reports, meeting minutes, and training manuals as necessary.
Proficiency in computer and database skills such as MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Enthusiastic about continuing education.
Required to be a person of great passion for learning and for sharing of knowledge
Obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or any related field from a reputable college or university.
At least one (1) year of experience in construction.
At least one (1) year of experience as a college instructor, review center lecturer, training facilitator, or equivalent.
POSITION TITLE
Technical Training Supervisor
The Technical Training Supervisor shall be part of the in-house technical training support arm of SMDC's Construction Management Department (CMD). This team provides corporate technical training and continuing education to SMDC employees that enhances mastery of job-specific skills and knowledge geared toward career progression.
